About Erin Davis, Student Therapist
Philosophy and Approach
Every individual deserves the opportunity to find peace of mind and personal growth. My approach to therapy is holistic, recognizing that healing involves the integration of body, mind, spirit, and emotions. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative and dynamic process, where clients play an active role in their treatment. Through goal setting, identifying systems of support and barriers, evaluating external relationships, and recognizing behavioral patterns, we work together to create meaningful change. Progress is continually reassessed to ensure that the treatment plan aligns with each client’s evolving needs.
I am committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where children, adolescents, and adult women can explore their experiences, build resilience, and develop tools for emotional and mental well-being.
Education & Experience
I am currently advancing my education at Bushnell University in Eugene, Oregon, where I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on psychology, anthropology, and sociology from Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon.
With over five years of experience as a skills trainer working directly with children and families, and more than 20 years working with children ages newborn to 19 in an educational setting, I bring a deep understanding of child development, behavioral patterns, and the importance of strong support systems.
I am also a proud member of Chi Sigma Iota, the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society, since 2024, reinforcing my dedication to excellence, ethics, and ongoing professional growth in the mental health field.
